REDBUD AREA MINISTRIES IMPACT SUMMARY 2024

Our mission statement is: to demonstrate the love of Christ by distributing food, clothing, household items and limited financial assistance to items and limited financial assistance to those in need within the Buchanan and Galien communities.
To that end, it is our pleasure to share with you an annual snapshot of our impact into this hurting world. Below are the stats from 2024, as well as previous years for comparison. You will quickly see that the need for RAM remains high, and continues to escalate.

*** In 2024 combined services of assistance were rendered to households 4311 times. 2417 2133 3122
*** Over 15,000 individual services were rendered through RAM in 2024 7000 8800 13,000+
*** Tens of thousands of items were dispersed through our Extra Blessings Room
*** Hundreds of books were given away throughout the year as we encourage literacy
To make all of this possible we are blessed by wonderful volunteers and a generous public.
*** In 2024 Volunteer Staff donated over 4994 hours 4300 4000 5386
*** Average monthly volunteer hours in 2024 were 417 per month 289 350 449
*** In-kind support donations in the value of over $206,000 came in in 2024 $95,518 110,500 184,161
*** Generated locally, fundraisers in 2024 raised $34,588 ** $12,405 $24,201
Besides all the statistical milestones, we also achieved many non-service-related goals. It is vital that we take care of our guests, but also our facility and our public relations ability. To that end, we have listed several significant changes made in 2024.
*** RAM changed our website to a .ORG to promote better identity for who we are and what we do as a non-profit
*** RAM launched a new and improved QR CODE, offering donors another option
*** We added security cameras for enhanced protection and security for our building, guests and staff
*** After suffering severe ice damage in early 2024, we needed to do a whole roof and gutter replacement to the tune of $24,000. (insurance covered only about 10%)
*** We continue switching out our lighting to LED, which is more economical.
We are proud and thankful for over 20 collaborations we share within our community, enhancing our albitites to respond, and meet needs for those in our midst. Buchanan District Library, Harding’s Friendly Market, The Marketplace in Niles, Cannavista, Harris Family Farms, Edgewater Automation, SWMCAA, US Marines, Aunt Millie’s Breads, Boy Scout Troop 541, Lowery’s, Scarecrow Charities, Wesner Automotive, Two Men on a Mission, Roti Roti Art Center and many, many local and regional churches.
Redbud Area Ministries continues to grow in volume of services, support received as well as community collaborations and local impact. Going forward we pray to experience increases in the following areas:
*** Financial support
*** Additional volunteers staff to join in providing guest services
*** Additional volunteer staff to assist with grant writing and admin/office tasks
